Welcome to Un-der-who? Blog. For those of you not familiar with our sites, the name of this blog may seem a little odd, but there is some logic to it, but first a little history…
First about the authors… Adrian and John are partners, both in life and business. We’ve been together for 3 years now - yay!!
Background:
Our very first website, USG-online, was started over 7 years ago. I had always had an underwear fetish but with the advent of the internet and the plethora of online underwear shops, my fetish was fueled. I started bookmarking all the places you could buy underwear (and buying from them as well.) Most were great shops, but some weren’t and I got burned a few times.
I soon realized that my bookmarks and opinions could actually benefit other people and so I created USG-online.com. USG simply stands for Underwear Swimwear Guide.
Not too long after, and a few redesigns of the site, I realized how horny I was getting working constantly with all this hot photo of men in underwear and decided to explore a second aspect of my fetish - the erotic side. I originally started some galleries on USG-online, but when I tried to trade links with certain sites, I found out how prudish many people were so I decided that I needed a second site for the erotic side of underwear. This is how Un-der-wear.com started.
As both sites grew in popularity I stopped caring about the separation. Many of the sites I begged to trade links with now wanted the exposure from our sites. As time passed and the sites grew the sites developed into one big site under two domains. Today, many people ask me why bother to have two sites, but it’s simply for traffic reasons. Both USG-online and Un-der-wear both come up in search engines and there are many sites linking back to one site or the other or both.
The USG Message Board was added within months of the launch of USG and become a great hub for a community of underwear enthusiasts like myself. The software running the boards was a bit lacking and I had numerous requests for users to be able to post galleries, so the “User Galleries” were added next. There’s now over 15,000 user submitted underwear photos in the galleries alone. Incredible!
Jockstrap Central:
After Adrian and I met, we realized we both had the underwear fetish. Adrian had always wanted to have an underwear store, and it just seemed like a logical step for myself to start one as well with all the knowledge I’d gathered. Knowing the huge investment for a full-on underwear store, we decided to start smaller and focus on our favorite style of underwear - the jockstrap. Two years later, we’re having a lot of fun with Jockstrap Central and doing great business as well.
Strange Names:
One of the more recent parts of the the underwear sites was the addition of the underwear blog called Un-der-where? Blog. It was simply a name that referenced the un-der-wear.com site but it was about finding underwear on the net. The focus of the blog was a bit blurred at first, but is now mostly about underwear sightings and industry news, hence the where?
The two blogs are closely linked, so we just though it would be logical to name the second blog Un-der-Who? We think it’s kind of cute anyway.
This new blog will be more focused on the sexuality of underwear and swimwear and will feature hot xtube videos, porn site underwear sightings, galleries from users and more.
Hope you enjoy it,
John and Adrian
